Well my time finally came. I feel so stupid. As I was coming down the driveway, I slid because of some stupid sand on the ground. I couldn't even pick her up cuz my boots kept sliding. Man I was so f'n pissed yet embarrassed. Some may say the damages are only cosmetic but me being a perfectionist may think otherwise. I am open to any suggestion as to how to get this fixed. Others are saying to just leave the scars on her. Damn!!!
I owned the bike for 3 months and treated her like gold and this Sh1t happens. Here are some pics.

Oh man that's nothing!!! Sorry it happened, though. I know what it's like. Dropped my 3 month old beatiful bike in the garage trying to get it up on my new rear-stand.
Serously, 80% of those fairing scratches will probably buff right out. Do that first and then see how you feel about it. Give yourself time and it won't be such a big deal most likely. If it is, sell the plastic and you won't have to pay much more for a new one off ebay.
Scratches tell a story dood. And trust me, if you're ever in a position where you finish coughing from all the dust in the air and catch a glimpse of your bike wadded up against a tree, it's a lot worse of a feeling.
HONESTLY I had to look at the picture for 5 seconds really close before I even saw what the heck you were talking about. Buff it and leave it.

repainting is an option. but now that you are riding canyons and track now. you might just wanna leave it the way it is. but im like you. if that happened to me, i'd get new plastics or what not. All depends on the funds. OoO. how about you get a paint shop to make your 600rr look like the new 1000rr repsol rep?

btw...did your slider crack/break from spilling in the driveway? if so..if you would have gotten some true race sliders, you could have saved yourself a lot of damage.

That "saying", I already knew about brah. I was going to include that on my title. The Yoyos did break on me as u can see on the pic.
Jeff, I think the damages would've been the same if I had other sliders because the bike didn't just fall. Marvin, maybe I just had POS Yoyos or my fall was harder...I dunno. Ph*ck'n aye! I think I'll just leave it.

I know how you feel...after my last spill I was like forget it...no money to replace my fairings so i'll just leave it as is and fix it later when I do have money. And like what Philo said it took a while to even notice the scratches.
At least she's still ridable.

Randy, sorry to hear you dropped your bike, but don't sweat it, thats minor stuff. Don't listen to Jeff and get new plastics. . .
About your frame slider, those YoYodyne sliders suck! Go with Intuitive.

Thanks for the advice ppl. I know it isn't much but one scratch for me is too much. For a bike sliding about 5-7 feet on the ground and having that little damage is actually not bad. I came out uninjured so that was good also. I guess I'll buy new sliders and look for some plastics on ebay or just paint the damn things.

Damn Randy.... that sucks man. But like everyone else, I could hardley see most of those scratches. Personally I'd try to buff it out like someone else mentioned.

These pics don't do any justice. But yes, I'll have my bro buff it as best as he can but alot of it is scratched deep into the plastic. I'll live brah. Let's ride Thursday dood.
Bike doesn't look too bad from the pics. maybe some touch up paint will do the trick.

you call that damage? I have rock chips outta my front fairing bigger than those scratches! Don't worry about it, your bike has some character now and you won't worry so much about it anymore...go out and ride!

Dayamm...I posted this last August and still get replies. I really don't feel bad about it as I did when I first dropped it. I know it's barely visible from afar. But the bike did sustain major damage last October when I got clipped by an oncoming SUV. And that was something worth biatch'n about.

whoa, what happened?
I was headed down Otay Lakes Rd, about a mile before the 94 T-Intersection, and an oncoming SUV hogged my side of the lane and clipped me on a right hand blind turn. I speed wobbled to a stop and that FOCKER kept going.
