What would you pick if they were all out....?

Comfortable or Iron chair?
Colors?

Hmmmm....they all boil down to one thing....whats gonna put the biggest grin on your face....

Since you put the SV650, should you also include the Honda 599 and F4i, and Yamaha FZ6, and Suzuki GS500 for that matter?

My choice is (of course) the R6. I was enamored from the second I sat on one. It just works with me.

The new GSXR-600 just looks badass, I think it'll kick all the other bikes' arses. I certainly would not mind having one.

I would not buy a 600 anymore, I am just basing my take on what I think will have the best performance this year. I think the CBR600RR looks better, but performance wise the GSXR-600 will take it because it has had a year to look at what has been out. With the USD forks and radial brakes and of course the updated motor, Suzuki will be one up in this class.

You don't think it is possible to give opinions even though one claims to be a loyalist?

I'm with Allan on the track/over-all performance of the GSXR600. Having ridden different types of bikes for extended periods of time I'd have to say that there's just something about Suzuki's, a good canyon run and the track.

As for looks I'd go with the 600RR. Just love the lines. But hey what do I know??

I really woudl l;ove to take the Gix6 for a spin just to see what she is like. I just want to remind myself of the good decision I made ;)

At least your poll know s what's up. The graph bar in the poll for the Yamaha is indeed BLUE :) :)

As for 600's, I would have to go with the CBR 600RR! The BLACK ONE of course! Well maybe if they release a Orange/Black version I might consider that one!

alright so here is how I see it....the yamaha, well its just SICK....
Ive ridden chucks and another F'ed up one on palomar and through highland, old julian, fastside routes....the bike has gobs of power and the top end is just ri****culous as DENO would say...
the handling is awesome...always held a stable line, suspension was "supple" and the ergos are super comfy...
brakes were...well nut crunching and the front end dive was fine...

Kawi....only ridden the RR but I do agree with some of those mags....Its a harsh ride and not very comfy rolling around...it was for me however, rock solid in the turns....
really linear powerband and not much oomph.....
brakes and suspension.....get a cup...that seat puts you all up in your bizznazzzz while riding and the "bitey" brakes are a whollop.
slipper clutch was dope....seeing how I can't blip to save me life...:errf:
Oh yeah the rearsets are sick!!!!!! I know some people say cramped....but if you have oompaloompa legs like me theyre da bomba

gixxer well I really liked the 1k, didnt get to ride a 6 that was working properly...had roda's brothers and the chain was all kinked to hell....so can't give a good assessment(sp?). I was not bothered by the "fat tank" however and the ground clearance is great....

CBR600RR....well as far as I could tell that thing has the smoothest gearbox that I have ever shifted...at first I was a little taken back from it...it was like buttah....the powerband, well shhhhhhhhh its so smooth and linear its "ri****culous"
brakes are smooth and less bitey, handling felt a lil stiff on bryants but I had no where to really test it out....;)
no top end hit, but I can see why people say its one of the easiest to ride....its got that Honda ease....see allan....:D

I would like to try the ZX6r and really see that kawi package with a little more gut to it....I'd like to see some of that midrange power as well as bigger bore top end...

The daytona, well from what I hear its still down on power, upper 90's...98 I think in HP but I hear there isnt a better chassis out there....and I hear good things about their brakes...
Since I'd be gaining 12-15 HP on that step up in bike I think that that really wouldnt bother me nor make a difference in how much fun I would have....

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I like the ergos like this
R6
CBR
Gixxer
kawi

I also really like how that kawi tank holds my leg when hanging off? is that a weird thing to notice...oh well, that what I think..

they're all so good I dont know if there is a flat out winner...
the R6 might get me going though...I'd pick either a blue or a silver, even though I like the red the best, and thats just because I know I'll crash the fudger and know that there are more blue pieces out there to replace my rashed plastics cause I hear blue people crash more...

Prob silver....just waiting for dre to sell me his....;)

The new gixxer I think is gonna own on the comparo's, how can it not, but buying a bike first year is just not for me....must wait and be patient...baby steps...

I'm excited to see how that kawi RR does revamped...mmmm slipper clutch....

ok now back to work....:errf:
