Okay guys, tell me if this is weird....

Last night my friend and I were out and about taking a short ride around Imperial Beach,..around 10 at night and we decided to head home back to the eastlake area. It was a wee bit chilly so we hurried home about 95 mph. Taking the 905, to the 805, to olympic/orange. The speed limit is 50,...I was ahead of my friend, going about 65mph. Leading I was in the left lane riding closest to the median. I looked in my rear view mirror to check up on her position. I saw a motorcycle's lights, and carried on, next thing I knew I felt a tap on my shoulder. Keep in mind I was still going 65. I about jumped, and looked over my right shoulder and there was a chp on a motorcylce right on top of me, pushing me into the median at the same time i looked ahead my tires where in the curb of the median, and my bike started to sway back and forth,...it only took seconds to pull my bike out of there and pull over to the right hand side of the road, where i noticed my friend was nowhere in sight. The cop told me that it was my fault and i shouldnt of been going soo fast. Am i just dumb or is it just me that cops don't push people off of the road? into a median. Then he started to bull**** with me...and talking about everything besides a ticket. I was still shaking from the incident, and then he started asking me about my friend about how she doesnt have a license plate, and all kinds of stuff....anyways about 10 minutes later, his partner arrived, (and both were driving the new bmw chp bikes,...)and then he said have a fun night and took off. They freaking peeled out when they left....:errf: what's up with that? He almost got me in a wreck and then drives off.??? Well my girl comes up and tells me about what happened with her, and the other cop gave her a complete sobriety test, and asked her 20 questions, and then without any warning just speeds off, leaving her there. Any body have any similair experiences? Don't get me wrong,...i'm glad no ticket, but running m,e off the road? He didn't even flash his lights or anything.

I think they were just hitting on you and trying to impress you with their "power". lame.

I would have given him the elbow, Biaggi style. That would trip me out too if someone tapped me on the shoulder and I knew I wasn't 2-up. All in all I would just be glad you didn't get the ticket and let the rest go.

Dude, that sounds messed up. Did you have the feeling that you got f*d with cause you're a girl? Glad you didn't get a ticket, but dude.. I would've taken the ticket and made sure I had his badge# to complain.

Last year I was riding up to SF from SD, I left around 6 am on a Saturday, so it was a pretty empty freeway. It was kinda chilly also, so I was leaning down behind the windscreen trying to avoid the wind blast, not paying attention to my rear views. So I'm buzzing along at about 90-95 mph, and I felt something hit me in the elbow (I think he tapped me on the elbow)..didn't think much of it, just kept going. Next thing I know I hear a siren, pretty frick'n loud too, scared the sh!t outta me. I look over to my right and theres a CHP on a Kawi motioning to me to sloow down. So, I slowed down some, then he shook his head in disgust and sped off...whew! That was close.
But what happened to you girl,.. was really messed up. Like you said, at least you kept control and did not wreck.

Next time, do the CHP up Trinity style from the Matrix. Do a backflip off your bike and kick the cop off his in the process meanwhile landing on your 2 feet at the end kinda like how Trinity did after she blew up the power station...especially if you were wearing tight black leathers.

*awakens from sleep*

Huh? What??? Who's there?

glad to know you are ok hon. I'd be shooken up myself. You know what...did you get a glance of his name badge or badge#? You should contact CHP and ask them what CHP was out that way that day and time. That is so wrong...no sirens, lights no warning...yeah, something could have happened, but luckily nothing didn't. What a bunch of !@#$^%&*()!!!

Motioned you to slow down, then he sped off...uhhhhh okay...should've sped up to him, tapped him on his elbow and give him the "you're number one" hand gesture. Silly copper

The CHP's action (riding up and tapping you) doesn't seem very safe. Lights and sirens would always be more appropriate-I think. Glad you are okay and you didn't get into a wreck. Be safe out there-expect the unexpected but I can imagine the tap on the shoulder was startling.
