So I came out to my bike the other day to go on a little ride and discovered a blinking maintenance light. Further investigation lead me to find the following...

(user/password: unnecessary/redundant)
Thats right, an animal of some kind managed to make a little pad for himself inside my engine bay! arg. You can see that he managed to chew through 1 wire fully, and just a bit of another. The wire he chewed through is part of the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor system that the ECM and LCD display uses.
So now I'm faced with trying to destroy his home and rebuild my wire. Anybody have any suggestions for easy ways of doing this? I've looked into buying a new wiring harness, doesn't seem like that will work. So I'm thinking of removing the fuel tank (which is a big pain in the a$$ i should mention) and attempting to solder the wires back together.
Any recommendations!?
