Hi y'all,
Arnold told me that someone else on this board has done the same thing, so I just wanted to share my pride and joy now that it's finished! Thanks for the clip ons Arnold!

I left the settings at Ohlins' recommended spot b/c I haven't had time to mess with it, but will adjust as soon as I get a chance. Let me know wut you think. ;)

Damn! Very nice setup. It is nice to see that you invested in the right things :). Make sure you get everything setup for your weight and riding style. Give us a ride report when you get a chance.

That would be me...the Ohlins forks look sweet! Wish I could fork out the $$ for that. I got the next best thing though...Ohlins internals.
How much did the shock run you? That's my next mod.

Thanks for the kind words, rear shock was 940 from Dan Kyle at www.kyleusa.com. He sets up the right spring for your weight at no charge b4 shipping it out, also he has a Ti spring option available for an additional 175 moolas! The price for 03 R6 is 850 for some reason... go figure.

Ugh...shocks are so expensive....
I'm trying to decide between the Ohlins and the Penske ($200 less).
We'll see...I probably won't be able to buy one for a few years now.

Yeah I definitely plan on doing a trackday this semester, probably Thill or Infinion, depends on which one my club decides to do. Looking forward to it!

The Point is really fun...but not a lot of run off so you can find yourself face first into a wall if you bail hard enough. So far, my favorite track.
Thunderhill has plenty of run off so I'd reccomend that if you have a bunch of track Newbs.
