Any know about yamaha wheels?

I need to replace my front wheel with a new one. Does anyone know if the 99-01 R1 wheel will fit and still mount the stock r6 rotors? Lots of wheels on ebay but r1 wheels are cheaper than R6 wheels. Anyone know?

thanks josh but i've already decided on converting my 6 to R1 inverted forks. woohoo!

yeah those R1 wheels all match up, the only difference is the spacers i believe. so the rotors should fit.

not any advantage you'll ever notice. but they tend to be cheaper on ebay for some reason...
