Has anyone got any info on the tuono? I am considering purchasing it. Any quirks or problems? Positive and negative opinions are welcome.
I am going riding this weekend with a buddy that has one. I'll hit him up and post back after the weekend.

The only quirk that I have heard of is that the rear brake line needs to be bleed often due to lack of feel. I have looked into these bikes and with the ticket price that they have it is actually not that high. It basically has most of the expensive aftermarket gear on it already.Ohlins forks, steering damper and rear shock and from what I have read the headers are as good as the aftermarket ones. From the look of it all you need to add is a aftermarket can to bring out that beautiful v twin sound. Just the Ohlins parst alone make the bike resonable. Although you couls walk into any Suzuki dealer and walk out witha new sv1000s for $6000 if you tried hard enough. But it doesnt have any styling compared to the Italians.
Hi,
I have a 04 tuono and love it. My previous bike was CBR954. The Tuono is very flickable, a real joy on Palomar routes and has a very strong engine (lots of torque). The top speed is not as fast as CBR1000 or R1 but it is not meant to be raced at max speed. However, it is very comfortable and with riders having similar skills, other liter bikes will not be able to leave the Tuono far behind on twisty roads. It is sexy, gets you a lot of attention and gives you a lot of fun. Highly recommended. I had no probles so far (2600 miles), fit and finish are excellent. I bought mine from GP motorcycles (www.gpmotorcycles.com) in SD.
