Hi Everyone!
SOMEONE has been bugging me to put up a post, even though I was sort of waiting to ride my bike before introducing myself. So, yes, I'm new to riding, a little anxious, but mostly excited to be controlling a bike instead of being a passenger.
So, we'll be heading up to LA to pick up my semi-brand new SV650s this afternoon! If you guys have any recommendations for bike locks, let me know... thanks!

My favorite type of lock is called "a garage."

Welcome to HC.

I wish I had "a garage" :( I used to have my bike in my living room until my landlord threatened to evict me... But he did let me keep the bike right outside my apt. door. So I guess chains and disc locks will have to do it for now.

BTW, Welcome! I'm in National City too so if you wanna ride w/a chick also in the learning process hit me up! :D

That would be awesome! I just took the SV out for my first ride and it was pretty amazing. It would definitely be nice to ride with someone else! I must admit, though, I need a WHOLE lot of practice.

I'm not sure if I'll be there this time, still need a little more time on my bike, I think, before I go out on group rides. I will definitely be there on future rides though!

Thanks for the offer, but I don't think you understand the lack of riding experience I have. I've probably put 40 miles or less on bike so far! I promise though, I will be out there with you guys! ;)

hey whats up im pretty new too. just under 2 months of riding for me and havent had a chance to ride with anyone really yet, so it'd be cool to meet up and ride with a couple other people who are starting out as well, in SD.
