HEADSUP! - HC on Library Walk - UCSD FFOG

For any of you interested, I signed Hypercycles up for UCSD's annual 'Fall Festival On the Green.' I know some of you have done this before but for anyone who doesnt know what the hell im talking about, its where various clubs/associations set up booths along Library Walk...anywho here are the details:

Where: Library Walk, UCSD Campus
When: Friday, October 8th, 11am-3pm
Who: At least ONE Ucsd Student (undergrad, grad, faculty is ok)
Anyone else (but UCSD student is liable for them)
What: One 6ft table & 2 chairs provided, BYO-Canopy, make own
banners, 1-3 Motorcycles*, flyers, info, whatev else

Other info: Check-in is from 9am-11am on day of event at FFOG check in booth(across from Bookstore)

*the motorcycles must arrive at site before 8am or we are SOL! I already indicated when I signed up that we may bring bikes

This is a good opportunity to rally interest and support for Hypercycles and for the upcoming show! Sorry for the late notice but if anyone is interested please let me know ASAP cuz we only have a week to get this going, otherwise I'll just cancel our reservation, no biggie :D

although i have class on fridays, i can still help you guys between time (set up booths, water boy, whatever). i would love to donate my 04 R1 for promoting our club. all for the love of riding. yo! :D

I got classes randomly through the day but I can table for a while.

I have class at 8 anyway also so I would love to help out, and donate my bike for the event (that way we will have a bigger diversity of bikes) unless we want to keep it sport bikes. And weee, I would get to ride onto libray walk :clap:

Yeah! For sure bring your bike to library walk. :) However, I do believe that everyone must "walk" their bikes on Library Walk for safety reasons.

*Firday, Oct 8th:
All bikes must be checked in at or before 8am!
-up to 4 bikes now, the 3 r6's and .......up for grabs!

Check in for bike is located on the south side of PC (if you walk from the Myers Dr moto parking towards Lib Walk-you cant miss it)
-you can walk your bike to the line or check in first, doesnt matter...they will assign first bike there to designated table...rest will follow...

Group check-in will be from 9am-11am, but most will be set up at 8 (lemme know what your classes are like cuz me or jared can man in b/t)

Show runs from 11am-3pm or whenever we are over it :-p

Yep.. there will be a banner for the table. Bi-ying should have the Hypercycles banner with her. Please be careful as possible with the banner as it cost us an arm and half a leg to make! ;p~~

aww.. i think it would be cool to show a little moto-diversity for our club to the UCSD peeps! Sportbikes are cool but having a nice cruiser like that VTX1800?!@?#!?? on display would be pretty awesome i think.

had a great time, tons of people came by, wondering when we were gonna take over the price center, it was nice to know that people really want to see that again. we had a great spot! glad to help out. and thanks sandahl for letting me ride the VTX down library walk!
