I guess this belongs here....

See... I just have never felt comfortable with Metzeler.... no reason just gut instinct and now here is proof!..

The specific tire is:

120/70 ZR17 Sportec M-1 P (Front Tire)
DOT: EB OV BRX 0403 and EB OV BRX 0503
Metzeler IP 1432800;
Distributor Part Number: 110 - 14328

I am sticking wiht team Deeyab--- Pirelli... Remember that Tony guy... he crashed on newer Metzelers.... I wonder... I wonder

I never got comfortable with the M-1's on the F4i, but I'm sure that was because I was a novice. Maybe they turn in quicker. I forget exactly why I did not like them on the F4i. I might give them a second chance on the R6.

If I recall correctly, this recall only affects OEM's on Busa's or something.

paul crashed on m1's

i crashed on m1's

both rider induced im sure, but i still say that those tires suck ass.

my problem with them is that they had no break off point, on the r1 it would be either seemingly great grip or crazy slids. i never had another tire be so unperdictable as to when it was going to break loose, yet it has enough grip to drag knee with so you are pushing it rather hard when it lets go
