I want to paint the exhaust pipes o my Monster, but before I start I need to cure it... what kind of solvent do you guys suggest and what else do I need to do? Thanks guys!

aircraft!! haha well i used to use it on everything on my 250...um it stings though :shifty:
well im not sure actually what the best solvent is, but to paint it all u need is a can of hi-temp paint and you should be set! ;)
though, you do have a ducati.....hmmm...im not too sure of alternatives that are not as janky but im sure some one here can hook u up ;)

yea I went to Pep Boys the other day and picked up some 1500 degree paint... I can't remember if the dude said laquer thinner to clean it or what... so if there's anyone, please let me know! I'll submit some pix of the outcome!

not many people paint their exhausts..so no replies....but Sarah sure does have experience with it all..:-p

Sand blasting is the best way to clean headers before painting, but I usually just get all of my headers ceramic coated, I have done a few DUCS and it runs about $100 and lasts for ever.
