I am a newb who desperately want to get into riding...

whats a good bike for a girl who cannot even touch the ground while sitting up straight on a bike yet wanting to look kool at the same time??

You might want to check out the new GS500 I believe someone else may have mentioned here in this forum! I think that's a pretty cool starter bike.

For a first time rider I would still recommend the Ninja 250, that's what I started out on and have been riding for almost a year, great beginners bike and you should have no problem touching the ground. They're also fairly cheap, picked up my 2002 last year for around $2500.

Lucky you, girl... at least your parents gave in. my parents think i sold the F4i... HAHAHA..... that's what they wish. Thank goodness they're 450 miles away. Hope you have fun in MSF class....
