OK, so when riding hard and braking for a turn and downshifting, how far up in the rpm range should one be blipping to?

i.e. 3rd gear 9k -> downshift to 2nd -> let go of clutch, no blipping, 13k.

Would you want to blip past 13k, blip to 13k, or blip below 13k?

I ask, cuz my hands are small and throttle movement is too much, so I can blip to only 7k max.

There's no play in my throttle either.

slippah clutch, wuut?

I would just try to blip where it feels smooth... i dunno what rpms ... too much goin on fer me ;)

what does ur bike redline at jeff?
if the rpms are that high, do you really need to be downshifting?

I have never paid attention at what my rpm's are when I am blipping the throttle. You just blip it enough so the rear tire doesn't lock up when you down shift. Just keep riding and get to know your bike better. Once you get very comfy on your bike you won't even know or care what rpm you bike is at, you just go off of feel.
