Ok I was trying to think of what to get myself for making it to 36(wait, that can't be right) ... so I ordered some Satos from Dan Kyle yesterday.

YEA! I'm excited and just had to vent!

It seems like DK's website is down right now, but count on dropping a good $475. That's how much they cost for the RC.

I was hoping to find an out of state retailer, to exclude tax, but I couldn't find one...

Brendan gave me the nod to go w/ DK...

are those fully adjustable though? its hard to tell by the pics but they don't look it. Then again I'm sure I'm wrong.

I picked up these 360 degree adjustable pegs for my bike.
I for one didn't want to spend the money for some rearsets.
Maybe down the road, but for now...these work fine.

Yeah black on the 03's and silver on the earlier models totally agree... These are definitley on my list of things I need to purchase by age 36 as well... $517! GOOD GOD!... ::looks at pics of satos:: those are just too sweet for words. :) :)

Hey Stroble... now that you have more adjustability than you could have ever imagined, are you gonna go with GP shift pattern or leave it alone!?!?

At any rate  BAD @$$

How was it getting used to the gp pattern? I guess it shouldn't be that big a deal getting the hang of it, eh? Good excuse for me to go ride more ;)

From what I have heard, it is not too difficult at all. Hey, GP did it!

GPTECHMAN

Its a lot easier for me, but since I have two bikes and I "was" using the other one to commute it get confusing....one bike should be fine. I only had one mess up...hehe
its a lot easier to blip(well not that I know how...) and it helps in shifting on that first sweeping righthander near the base of palomar

Lefthanders are harder...
but upshifting in all those righthanders are a lot easier:)

Casey has GP shifting on his R1 and when I rode it, it took a little getting use to but I like the feel better then conventional shifting.

I was going to go with GP shifting also, but the company that produced my rearsets went out of business before I could get the link.

is that the same as reverse shifting? I am not sure if that is the right term, but I know there is another term that is reverse something or other...

Yeah same thing. A lot of people call it GP shifting because majority of the Moto GP guys used except for a few like Max Biaggi and I think John Hopkins.
