Hey guys just wanted to introduce my self. My name is Prem and im a newbie. Just got my first bike a few days ago - 97 cbr f3 600 . Learning the ropes now. I know a couple guys on here so i hope to come out to bike night some time soon. any tips/pointers are welcome

yup im all licensed! took the saftey class a lil while ago and just waited till i saw a bike that i liked! what i do need to do though is get my insurance set up.. aaa gave me a great quote..

that's weird prem, aaa said that they don't insure two wheeled vehicles when i asked my car insurance agent. i use pacific specialty insurance also known as mcgraw. i got good rates for liability only cause collision on my bike just isn't worth it. give me a call or send me a note if you want any info

what did they quote you? a friend of mine is already using them ... the catch is unless you have been an insured rider for atleast a year then you have to switch you car over to them as welll. Im with mercury right now but they do not insure bike at all. i shopped aroung on AIS and geiko and it came out to a couple Gs for the year. AAA was really cheap .. something like 700 if i remember correctly. I will be getting liablity as well since my bike isnt worth a whole lot too..

Well, a year ago, when I got my first bike. Odd. Anyway, PSIC is doing both my bikes, although they're older, for something like 200 for liability only.

thanks for all the welcomes guys ( and girls) ! So i got my insurance today through AAA. didnt get any collision just liability. Came out to 92 bucks for the whole year.... =)
