Usually not. A salvage title doesnt mean much to insurance companies but you could always try calling around. What are you trying to buy sean?

Some insurance companies will insure a bike, but with a high premium right?

you can get coverage.... only problem is if ANYTHING happens to the bike they will not repair it... they will total it. It could fall over in the driveway and bend a clipon and they would total it.

Try calling various insurance companies and they will give you a straight up answer on what they will do for you. My insurance company (Allstate) would have covered probably a little less than 50% of bluebook if I remember correctly... but then again, you would be buying the bike probably around 50% of bluebook anyway so wouldn't be too bad. But every insurance carrier could be different so definately givem all a call and see who you can get the best deal with.

Allstate, btw, is no longer on my best insurance company list for motorcycles. They outsource moto insurance to McGraw and it's not too cheap these days... and service is a bit more complicated as well.
