So far I think Shaggy (Jason), Jiggy (Mike), and I, Hondarider (Mike N.) are going to get our race licenses, in the third week of november at Big Willow.
Others that may come
Sean (tenative)
Arnold (tenative
Bryant (racing)
Erin (racing)
Eileen (watching/cheering)
So far we need hotel reservations and to figure out who's going and with whom and staying where...

Yeah Mikey, put me down for tentative. . . Pahrump is taking a huge chunk out of my wallet! But the memories of getting passed by Jason, Bryant, Aaron, Sean, Mike B and H is second to none! I'm still 50/50 though
Is there a deadline to register?!?
No deadline! You can register saturday morn. I think they charge $10 extra tho!

All you need is a bellypan. Other than that you just need to have your bike drilled for safety wire. If you guys need any help i would be glad to lend a hand.

Can't you just glue an aluminum cooking pan/tray or something for the bellypan? I have a feeling modding your bike with kitchenware would break one of the rules.

Generally you buy a set of race fairings, and those are designed so if you blow your motor the bottom fairing (belly pan) will catch all the oil. You might get away with a aluminum foil turkey pan if you want to get ghetto on it. Race fairings are pretty cheap, about $500 for a full set.
I reccomend getting a set of fairings. Youll also need to drain all of you coolent (sp?), and replace with distilled water and a capful of water wetter. Then all you need to do is safety wire and your set. Im probablly forgetting something...
