Man, i don't know what the hell i would do with all that power. What about the new R1??? Heard it put's out a buck 80 at the "Crank"....:lol: (Still laugh'n at CPM F4's Post) but does anyone know how much at the rear wheel?

Im thinking this dyno is rear wheel....in any case I think you lose at least 10% from the crank to the rear wheel...so...the numbers are somewhat close...
dynos are tough to really guage anything cause all dynos can run differently on any given day.....too many variables...
they really are only good for comparison purposes
mods...comparos and what not....well thats from what I gather....

Nobody compares dyno charts at the crank - they're all at the wheel. Who'd want to pull all the engines out, rig the dyno to attach to each block, run 'em and put them back?
The drivetrain power loss is different for each tranny/chain/sprocket/wheel/tire setup. Very hard to gauge, expecially since Sean's right about dyno's being different... you could measure power at the crank on the engine then measure it at the rear wheel...but you'd have to use two different dynos to do so...each one measures differently.
Yeah....where's the new R1 in this comparo? I want to see it spank the Gixxer :D

Found this tid bit on the R1 Forum. Apparently Orient Express importers (?) of the Ti Force exhaust systems have dynoed a stock '04 R1 and it put out 150.7rwhp stock. The post didn't say anything about how much it made with the Ti Force pipe on.

It redlines just a little bit higher than my SV....Crazy. I'd expect like 13 or above.

the curve seems very linear and smooth... doesn't have that ugly 5k spike the gsxr has.

Damn! All these new liter bikes are putting out crazy HP! Who the hell here, besides an elite few, can tell the difference between 150 and 153 HP? I'll take one of each.
