Is this a good deal?

Do you think this is a good deal? Really like the color scheme but dont know if getting an older bike with 30800 miles on is a good idea.

1995 49 State CBR600F3 $3500 obo

I've got a clean 49 State CBR600F3 for sale. This bike has a full yosh exhaust, new 207's, new chain, braided brake lines. Dyno tuned by Lee's in San Diego, one of the strongest F3's they've seen. I got it from Jeremy at Lee's and it has been updated with the purple/yellow 1997 plastic.

I saw this bike at Lee's. Doesn't look bad but 30000 miles is kinda scary in my opinion. I'm sure you can find something with a little less miles at that price range. :cool:

Also, what kinda miles are those on the motor? Has it been recently rebuilt? How are the valves and tranny looking? Don't let the outside appearances fool you, have a qualified mechanic check the internals first.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, really like the colors on this one but really should get something newer with less miles. Just trying to figure out If I should try and get an older 600 like a GSXR or CBR or the new GS500 that I was looking at both would be around $5-6000.

I think that is way too much for that old of a bike with 30k+ miles. pass on that one.
you can find one with less miles for around the same price.


have you looked into any Yamaha fzr 600 (or 400 if you could find one). They have a low seat height and are great bikes to grow into IMO.

No dont think I've ever seen one of those, wishing now that I would have paid more attention though cause a 2000 CBR w/ 15000 miles just went for $3300.

yeah, you can find FZR's for 2-3k usually. That is if your looking for an older 600. If your going to drop 5-6k your options are pretty wide open

TreAddidas....Are you refering to the YZF600 R??? I've ridden those bike before and they were alot fun.
