Man, I wish they could fix it by this weekend. The dealer still waiting for a rep. to come over and approve the work they have to do.
The rod bearing gave out, which broke the crank. Now, they have to replace a bunch of parts. It is $3200.00 just in parts plus labor.
It would be cool if they total it, and I get the money instead :)

Nice bike dude! I almost went for a '01 Duc, from Ducati/Aprilia Ocenside. But, sucks that I don't have a garage. After I've seen all this bikes vanishing (on the forums)....I rather wait,or stick with a japonesse bike.
Chances are that, I may ride for at least a year, before it gets stolen :-)
Welcome the the club!

What's up Robert. Next week I have a 5 day weekend. I'll prolly got to San Jose first for a day or so. After that I'll see if I can make it to SD. I am hoping for my bike to be fixed by that time so I can ride it. I don't care if it rains or not :).
RemusR6,
It is better to have a Ducati as a second bike and not as a first and only bike because it sucks when it brakes down. It takes a while for the dealer to fix it if they don't have the parts. Further, it take a lot more money to fix too. I won't like that it is a nice bike.

yes sir we do - just for reference - ya know? if you wanna go for a ride, and you're not by a computer, you can either call peeps up or text them... also, if you need help - alot of hypercyclers are very knowledgeable when it comes to bikes and also very willing to help... but its up to you - you might get a stalker... LOL
