haha. actually, no one in our class fell or dropped it. everyone there had some riding experience, they jsut didn't want to take the dmv test. on myself and one other guy who was 18 had never ridden before

I had a great teacher, I did canyons (Scripps Ranch to Ramona to Santa Ysabel) on my first day with 40 - 50 mph Santa Ana winds and ate it hard going 40mph. Didn't have any real gear so I got scratched up pretty bad. I can't believe I ride with the guy still.

hehe. i do'nt think our guys are going to get us do anything like that. just stopping swerving, running stuff over, etc

As long as you understand that MSF is just a good tool to transitioning you from a non-rider to a rider and that seat time is what'll actually teach you to survive, have fun but above all, be safe.

Enjoy your 2 wheeled fun. Ride safely and remember...start really slowly and work your way up, just like gixxer8 says, seat time is what counts. (Thats not to say the MSF is no good, I took it after years of riding and managed to lose my bad habits, but, there is WAY more to learn than they teach you.)
