well my bike is pretty much over due for a valve adjestment and the motor is getting a bit noisy so i think i need to go ahead and get it done. so who here has had an adjustment done, where did you have it done and how much did it cost? where would be the best place to take it? for those with an R6 like bodmaster and a few others, is a valve adjustment hard to do, would i beable to do it myself or should i just not bother and have it done somewhere?

Heheh.. well i "hear" it's a royal pain in the arse on the R6.. i've actually not done a valve adjustment yet on the R6 but I'm sure it's not gonna be too difficult to do.. just really time consuming if anything. I don't remember if you have to drop the motor or not but I do hear that if you keep it in the bike, you need some ultra small teenie little hands to work on it. I'll take a look at my service manual sometime and let you know as soon as possible.
