So since I enjoy eating so much I thought I might see what you guys love.

My favorite food is donuts. The chocolate chip roll from KD-Donuts in Ventura, CA tops my list.
Anyone know a good donut place down here? I'm not a big fan of the crispy cream- too much like cotton candy. Not enough substance.
I also love a good steak.

Speaking of sushi, I have yet to find a good/reasonably priced place in SD.

Any suggestions?

I don't know about you, but I feel like I'm eating as fast as I can to keep up with all the food they bring. I usually have to pass by the 5th or 6th cut just to catch up. but I'm a shrimp compared to you respectively. Is there any way to stretch your stomach. Like building a tolerance or something. Need to find a way to get all that goodness in.

you know about the lunch special right? It's 1/3 of the cost!

Of course, I've been there like 10 times, haha! I just try to slow it down and turn the knob red often so I won't be tempted.

Now wait a minute is that KD donuts on Telegraph Rd? I went to HS at St. Bonnies and I would stop at this drive through donut shop everyday to feed the little siblings before school......I wonder if it's KD's?

My favorite is place to eat/food is the Yardhouse in Long Beach (by the convention center). Rib eye medium-well and a chocolate soufflé to finish off the meal. Hmmmm...now I got the munchies and the cafeteria is still closed. I wonder what I've got stashed away in the desk?

Yeah, if us lil' siblings had the money for it!

My favorite restaurant is The Chop House in Chicago - get the rib eye cooked rare (they know how to cook a steak rare - unlike other places that leave parts of it uncooked).

It sure is! I used to have swim practice at Buena, Ventura High, and Ventura College. It was always my after practice treat. I still go there every time I go home. It's a hole in the wall, and it's so damn good. They probably gave Krispy Kreme the idea of the drive thru.

I know, they just need one up by Mira Mesa, usually go to the one in PB but takes about 45 minutes. Where's L & L? There's a few little hawaiian places around here but everytime I eat there I'm disapointed. How can you have a Hawaiian restaurant and not have Aloha Shoyu, asked them why they didnt have it and they had never heard of it, said that none of the people that work there are actually Hawaiian.

Barrio Fiesta WAS good but their prices drove them out of business! Max's Fried Chicken is ok, Point Point Joint, Zarletto's, are ok. Manila Sunset can really use some improvement!
