Had the settings done at Lee's for street riding....2 questions as follows:
1) Now that I have a setting for my weight and street riding, wanting to use my stock suspension at the track..how should I adjust my settings for more rigorous track riding? Preload, dampining etc....
2) Ive used Rennesports and had my bike set with those tires....now that I have the 002's...I noticed that my front tire doesnt go to the edge, thus I measured the circumfrence of the two forementioned tires and noticed that the 002's are a taller profile (as in the circumfrence is greater?) how would I adapt my suspension for this? Move forks which way in the triples. Up or down? Up right?

how much taller are they los? if its easier to measure the circumference then do so using cm and divide both numbers by pi....I think that will get you the diameter and thus the ride height difference...drop the triple by that amount...(or pull the fork tubes up).
Im assuming that the difference isnt more than 5mm-ish???
that just seems like alot.
In any case, I dont think you want to really mess with the preload, because the set it for you weight(with gear on right?)
the only thing I would do is either mess with the compression and rebound depending on how smooth the track is and what type of turns you will be riding....
I would try messing with one setting and then once you feel like its set better, then start messing with the other. both my compression and rebound are pretty stiff, and not really suited for riding the street, but Im just too lazy to change it....
too stiff of compression and your forks wont track the ground and it might just give you a lot of chatter...add a turn at a time and then when you have gone from being to soft to being too stiff, back it up a half turn....ride, and repeat.
too much rebound damping and pretty soon if the road is too bumpy you might run out of suspension travel and then your tire might start taking up some of the absorption...no good
I dont like my forks too bouncy so mine is fairly dampened as well...
to each his own...you can try mine and see if you like my settings and we can try and match it up:)

I guess when you ride a Suzuki you need to set up the suspension perfectly to make up for the lack of power and styling.
:beam:
Are Renns 70 series? BT's 65's??? If so you would just raise the fork tubes through the triples 5mm.
