I never ride with these guys, either. My bike's at home...and it's an enduro...so yeah.

Rest assured that I will eventually obtain a streetbike and commence riding.

Gowd I'd love to but the wife's got me finishing the Christmas shopping! Talk about hell on earth. I'll take the dentist over the mall during Christmas any day of the week.

Talked to the little sister and she's complaining about having to change the coolant on her bike.

Hey everyone, I am new on this forum so I guess i fit into the squidy catagory. Whatever that means. I have been riding for about 9 years, first on a kaw then i got myself a tuna and now I am on a gix6 thats me in my avatar, hope Kent doesnt mind me using that one!! I am a Marine in Oceanside and all of my friends that ridehave either moved away or grown vaginas and dont want to ride. I love palomar and roads like it. I'm not into the tricks so much except maybe a little first gear wheelie off the lights, just to keep it interesting. Anyways thats me Thomas.

What's up Hyper dudes,

My name is Mike and I'm a co-founder of UC Berkeley's moto club, Cal Sportriders Club (CSC). I recently had the honor of meeting one of your members, Arnold, who told me about UCSD's moto club. On behalf of CSC I just wanted to give a shout out to the UCSD club and everyone on this forum! Our website will be up soon, will keep you posted. There is another moto club on the Cal campus, EZ Riders, and they do more touring as their name implies.

I little about myself, I am originally from Oceanside, and graduated from Cal this year, and I've been riding for 1.5 years. Being a student at Berkeley sure has its advantages as we are but 5 minutes away from the Berkeley Hills, which is where many of us bums have been known to hang out at when we ditch classes. :D Having the twisties in our own backyard, I ride when I can. My gf has complained that I spend more dough on da 6 than on her... well she's gotta remember who came into my life first:-p Anyhoo that's a little bit about myself, looking forward to meeting y'all. Peace out and ride safe!

Hey Arnold thanks for the clip ons, I don't think I will be needing the triples but I'll let you know. I will definitely post pics when I'm done and hopefully web will be done soon too.

I took my bike down to Oceanside this summer and had a blast on South Grade Rd at Palomar Mt., too bad I didn't have many peeps to ride with. Would have been nice to know that this group existed and called up some of y'all. Nevertheless I managed to hit up Palomar 8 or 9 times in the 6 weeks that I was there. That road is sick ass!.. But the ride to and from the Bay Area was not... it was sore ass! If I'm going to be at so cal for more than 3 weeks I'll definitely ride down, otherwise I don't think it's worth the pain in the ASS and all over your body! Need to get a cheap ass Toyota truck or somethin. Peace out.

Yeah I dont really like any of the old GS500s but like the new look, since it looks like they're trying to make it into a baby GSXR. I really like the GSXR600 but I like being able to put my feet on the ground and the price for the 500 is more in my range.

Thanks for the welcome. =)

Welcome!
Nice to have you aboard Russl...

My buddy recently bought that 1200rs and it's really a blast to ride. Soooo smooth! I've noticed that bike makes you want to stay in the saddle and just counter steer, yea? It didn't seem to like it when I tried to do the body steering thing ...but that could be just because I SUCK! :D

and you have an f3 too! Nice! Is your technique much different when hopping from one bike to the other?

As far as the red flash I have only heard of, they once said he went on a ride with us, but again I never had the chance to visualize for myself. Perhaps one day, one lucky day I will be able to shake hands with the red baron of the mountain.

Nah, Tracy was a really good passenger..especially since this is her first time in I guess a really really long time. ;) Just need to work on the mounting and dismounting part a little but I can see it can be little difficult since the passenger seat is so high up on these newer bikes. OIYE....

Hey My name is Dave a.ka. live2ride. I am still a beginner as far as riding goes in my eyes but I cannot get enough of it. I am trying to get into more circles of riders so I can learn more and be around people who dig it like I do. Holla at me, I ride whenever work and school will permit me and soemtimes even if it won't.
