How the tides turn. I am sure all of you had a great time at your track day but you did miss one hell of a race this weekend between me and Shag's. Once again, we battled it out right down to the checker flag and he got me this month. :cheers: I had the #1 grid position this month with Shag's just to my left in the #2 position. I had a pretty good start, slipped the clutch just a little to much. Shag's pulls about a bike leangth on me going into turn one. We come out 1 and 2. We changed positions a couple of times during the race but i could not get a drive out of T5. He had my # in T5/T6. I have to say lap traffic sucks big time. Last lap I was right on Shag's following him through T1, T2, and then in T3 he goes wide but i dont make a move knowing he is stronger in T5 and T6. I just let him lead the way and continue to stalk him, Waiting for T8. I see the lap traffic coming up very fast through T8 and in T9. Shag's stays out wide and i slam down in T9 for the pass and the lead. Into T9 and there is a Buell just parked there, I was hoping the buell was going to go wide and i would hold my line and block Shag's, nope he stays inside and i grap a hand full of front brake, miss the guy by about an inch. Shag's passes me on the outside for the lead and the win.
