Hey what's up BMA,

This is Mike from UC Berkeley, co-founder of Berkeley's club "Sportriders @ Berkeley - SB," formerly Cal Sportrider Club (CSC) For technical issues with the school we had to change our name (Cal is a registered trademark... damn school, they think they own everything). Check out our website at http://www.cold-fire.com/CSC

A little about myself, I just graduated this past year, still helping out with the club. I ride a 49-State 02 R6 with some modifications. Been riding for about 2 years now. My brother Tony is a member of BMA, he's the one with the blue SV650 that makes a lot of noise. :-p Here are some pics of me bike:

Just wanted to say what's up since we're on the same forum now. If any of you are ever in the Bay Area feel free to hit us up. Ride on and keep representin' the two wheels!

Mike

what's up, everybody? i've met dre a couple of times at BMA photo ops. here is me showing the importance of wearing proper gear when holding a friend's front end down for burn outs. http://img.aguto.com/040124 j/k yeah BMA members aren't too keen on the hypercycles.org forums yet but i hope they'll come around cause communicating via a mailing list causes certain problems. Also, i've noticed that you guys seem to focus a lot on sportbikes and going fast on them. unfortunately we don't seem to have that kind of vibe or impetus here. I suppose it's easier to make it out to the twisties when it's in your backyard (e.g. berkeley hills). When we get out of class though LA traffic is in full force and will not let up until nighttime.

Hey Tony, nice to have on the board. We don't tend to focus on going fast through the twisties, more like providing a fun, safe and enjoyable ride. We tend to save the trash talking and high speeds for the track! Hopefully someday in the near future we could set up a group ride.
