Now Sean this is a picture of the underside of a windshield. You've probably never seen one from this angle since you don't tuck on the straights, but you'd better learn how if you wanna keep up with 180+ hp bikes!!!

BTW it says 137, not 37................

Didn't wanna go home, while resting in Hemet Mike Metzger and company pulled up in his PEEEIIIIIIMMPPPP setup. No lie, within 10 seconds of stopping the truck a van of groupies pulled up asking for autographs.

I shoulda stuck a buymoto sticker on there while they were eating.

Finally after hours I get to the beginning of the REALLY GOOD stuff............the lovely Palms to Pines highway. (still highway 74)

Can't even describe how beautiful it was. There was gravel in a LOT of spots up at high altitudes and I almost ate a truck's grill when the rear stepped out over some, so I slowed down and enjoyed the ride for a while.

Yeah this was crazy, that's snowy pine trees at the top, and rocky desert in the canyon below.

30 minutes after the last pic the sun went down. Rode home almost 2 hours at night on the freeways. After about 10 hours of riding with one lunch break and a couple pit stops I got home at 9:00 exhausted.

Sorry 'bout the pics I've decided I'm getting a new camera. And BTW except for the last two pics, all the good spots aren't on camera because I was too busy RIDING!!!!!!!

Yeah, but it's nice to get out and be alone sometimes too. :errf: Come with me next time, there was nobody to ask "did you see that?!?!?!"

As far as the pics, let's just say I'm a squid...........an ambidextrous squid.

i'd be up for it. but to tell you the truth, i really hate the malibu mountains. they're all really tight, and really dirty. for the most part at least. if a big group rolls... i'm down. otherwise... meh.

Sure Bill. You can ride it if ya want. I let Mikey ride it and he already pulled a nice stand up wheelie in 2nd gear till 15k with only 10miles on the odometer. . . J/K

Hmmm... I do have the next few Sundays off, which probably won't happen again for a while. I've never been up that way...

Ortega is a fun ride, I drove a cage over it for a year and a half to work so it makes it even better on the bike when you know the road. People are real paranoid about riding that highway, I think the cars are worse than the bikes IMO but you just gotta make sure to stay real wide on the blind curves.
