If you find one, Marv, let me know though... I've been craving some sinagang lately.

A friend of mines family owns this restaurant called Old Recipe in Nasty city. Its not the typical filipino dishes on the menu. I guess its just that..old filipino recipes. I ate there once. Its some good sh*t. You should try it out. Its right across Circuit City next to that golfing range.

Dude, most of the Filipino rest here in SD or National City are kind of fast food. Check out Tita's Kitchenet, Point-Point Joint and/or Lutong Bahay all in National City location..

:roflmao: You think I'm joking Marv! Dude, eating filipino food should be like thanksgiving. . . eat only once a year. You know the calorie count for some lechon kawali, greasy a*s Max's chicken, or some longonesa-spp.

karihan just east of the 805 off of Plaza is cool. its not a real dine in, but they have good stuff. if you get there early enough, they have "o- koi" (not sure on spelling) on the west side of the 805 is another joint, not sure of the name, but they have sisig which is pretty good.
i still want to check out that Max's chicken. where did you say it was again??
lourdes is really good late night. thats when all the drunks go in, the kareoke is blasting, and the stomach is growlin.
