Ok so I know that there was great controversy over the baby blue Icon Kitty gear (which I happen to like). But as expected from Icon, they keep pushing the limit on there designs. Now Icon is coming out with the same kitty design, only in brite pink. Look it up and tell me what you think.

Only if it comes with a matching thong.
Plus, I don't think "pink" and "kitty" belong in the same sentence...but that's just me.

A* makes a pink girls jacket. I think it looks a lot better than that Icon one.

I really like this one. Simple and cute. Wish I can afford to buy motorcycle jackets by the season...

For the ones that love pink...
I don't trust that much white in my jacket to look decent after a couple rides. Looks hot for a week or so though, huh

In my opinion I-Con might look cool and all, but it isn't the best out there, and they charge the same price as the top of the line stuff.
Furthermore, I-Con helmets are made in Korea....and everyone knows that low cost helmets are made in Korea and China ;).
Of course everyone knows that OGK, Arai, and Shoei is Japanese. AGV and Suomy are Italian and Shark from Portugal and Schubert from Germany ;).

Well the Icon kitty Helmet can't be too bad, they are snell approved.
Its true I con isn't the best but I was looking at an Alpinestars jacket, and it seemed to be more cheaply made and the leather seemed a bit thinner than the kitty jacket I bought. It just seemed that you paid for the name mostly on the A* gear. (don't get me wrong, they are a great brand).
Oh yeah, and the white on my jacket hasn't gotten too dirty yet. I've been on multiple rides wearing it and it is still really clean, better than I expected anyway. I should clean it soon though or it will just get worse.

It depends on what jacket you are buying from Alpinestarts. Most of their jackets are thinner because their quality and leather is better. Thus, thinner means lighter jacket.
I have had the pleasure of testing one of the Alpinestars TZ-1 Jacket, which I believer is 1.3mm thick leather, and it held good none of the stitches came loose.
I've had friend with I-Con, and they haven't tested their jacket jet, but the stitches came loose already around the wrist area. Furthermore, their jacket is thicker and heavier.
However, my Urban Warrior Gericke Jacket is thicket and heavier than the Alpine because it has more zippers and it was meant for Sport-Riding.
Furthermore, you have to understand that Alpinestar, Spidi, Taichi, and other top of the line brands make their leathers with the mentality and functionality of a racing form, but I-Con is made by the "stunt riders."
Therefore, the question is Would you want to wear something that was made for durability and safety or you want to wear something that was made with the mentality of a stunt rider?
I'm not saying I-Con is completely worthless. I'm saying that you need to do your research as to why a Jacket from Alpinestar is thinner vs. an I-Con jacket which is thicker? Looks at how many years Alpinestar has been in business. How many AMA, WSB, MotoGP have Alpinestar compare to I-Con, which most of the Stunt Riders wear cause they are sponsored by them. :)
