Correct if i'm wrong, but i think i read an issue in Motorcyclist a while back that was stating that Honda may come out with a street version of the RC211. Anyone one remember that?

Those have always been rumors. If they did that, they would not be able to race the RC211V. There have been rumors of Honda coming outh with a V6 to replace the RC211V though.
