well, that model is the NSR500v. Its a inexpensive version that was available to private buyers where the v4 500s were mostly leased by HRC. the v model is a vee twin and i believe was know for its light weight and tremendous braking power. Not as fast as the V4 but more rider/tuner freindly.

I am not sure if they have one I am going to have to inquire with the DMV about how to go about it

thats like when you were 16 asking your mom if you can ditch school and go to the beach,...you for sure will get in more trouble if the answer is no and you still do it.
just get one and worry about it later, then you can always play the "i didnt know card " haha

Not a good idea Case! If you have no VIN, you can't register it, can't insur it, etc. Why take a risk and ride a loud, smokey 2 stroke motorcycle only to have it confiscated by the police.

Its not impossible for the roadgoing NSRs/2 strokers. very impossible for a 'real' NSR' or Honda rs250. although I know of a guy with a titled and registered 90hp rs250...dog's bollocks! remember the honda RS is way more viscious than the aprilai of the same name.
the best way to get a street stroker is to get one thatn is already registered. it'll save you a massive migraine. just ask Victor what he had to do just to get his CBR legit...and thats a 4stroke. I cherry 79 cbr400rr. tits!
