View Full Version : Someone Please help me get my slip on

There was a mixup at buymoto and they had to reorder my slip on. The only problem is I'm having a hard time getting my hands on a vehicle to pick it up. If it would not be too much trouble I would really appreciate it if someone could pick it up from buymoto and drop it off at my place. I live right off the 56 on Carmel Country Rd in the Del Mar area. If you can do that my cell is 858 two four five six six one one. the exhause should be in this afternoon.

I go right past you on my way home.
But where is this place and why can't you pick it up?
Is it to big for you to carry on your bike? Or is the bike down and you don't have a car?

Bryant actually suggested I post it. The box (at least when it was the wrong exhaust) is too big to get on the bike and I'm not sure I will have access to a car before places close so I thought it might be no big deal for someone. The place is buymoto and my place is 5568 Caminito Mundano, SD CA 92130 it's a gated community. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

yeah it's a jardine slip on for my new bike (ZX6RR) if it doesn't come in or I can't get it today tomorrow would be great, thanks Arnold.

If it doesn't work out I'm going to have Bryant ship it up to LA where I will be after Tuesday but I'm trying to save him the money and getting it sooner certainly wouldn't hurt me :P Thanks though I appreciate the offer.

that's a thought I could prolly swing that did you do anything to make sure it wouldn't fall out the top other than cince up the zippers?

There were zip ties involved somehow. It was a while ago, though. The stock can plus 4 quarts of oil is HEAVY. :lift:

Your Jardine shouldn't be too heavy at all, just wrap it up with bubble wrap or a blanket to keep from scratching it. :thumbsup:

Or I'll meet you at Buymoto and install your slip-on if you let me have your old stocker. :whistle:

Well it looks like it's not going to be in till Wednesday so they are gonna have to ship it to Santa Monica thanks everyone who tried to help. If anything changed I'll post up.

Sounds good! I haven't been able to ride around on it much and I wore earplugs on my way back up to LA. Havning has twins I expected it to be louder but it's certainly got more bite to it lol.

Yeah, the sound of a twin motor leaves me an eternal struggle about owning anything else. Want a sweet I-4 but man I'd miss the rumble.

yeah nothin will ever have the sound of the Ducati I had with the cored out mufflers, but that's prolly a good thing :P.
