I'll post up pics in a few days.. I took it for a ride tonight and it was fun. It was really strange riding on the road! Can't wait till its broken in.. Are all r1's anemic on the bottom end? I guess im used the the power of the gix. Then again this bike has 12 miles on it!

Tee hee hee. hee.. heee.. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

Congrats

Since they didnt have the silver this year I see you had no choice

p.s
my 00 R1 had much better low end torque, the 04/05 have Much better mid/high end torque, but all you need to do it drop one tooth in front and your problem is solved.. $20 part is all it takes!

I know the '04 have like 17 or so teeth on the front sprocket. . .

Thanks everyone! I'll be at the mira mesa bike night with it this week if anyone wants to peek. The stock tires sucko mucho but i have to commute a bit so i probablly won't change em for a bit. I also am not used to riding without a steering dampner (the one that is stock feels useless compared to aftermarket).

I want to find a good option for the lic. plate. There is this huge chunk of plastic stuck to the back of the bike i would love to get rid of!

riding this weekend anyone???

I bought this one on ebay for only $30. Does it's job as far as eliminating the huge chunk of plastic. You can also mount short stocks signals on them to.

I want an R1 :( I've considered selling my boat to buy one and keep the R6 too. I think that would be very selfish though :) Is that ok?

I got this one, it works pretty good!

and for the turn signals
http://www.customled.com/PRODUCTS/INTEGRATORS/_04-_05_R1_Tail/_04-_05_r1_tail.htm

Ya I completely agree about the dampner it was nice that they put one in, but for any agressive riding its useless, I went for the ohlins.

I used to have the scotts on my 00/R1 but unfortunatley Scotts does not offer a rotory dampner for the 04 R1 :( , there is a mod but you have to drill a hole in the frame and Iam not about to do that :P
