Bike problem -04 CBR 1000

Not sure if this is the right area for this post.. but yeah .. this is the deal.

I have an 04 cbr 1000rr .. with 4k miles. I was cruising out to Alpine today on the 8 East. Going about 80 MPH approx at about 5000-5500 RPM in 6th gear, I was just coasting at that speed right .. then I go to pass a car in front of me ,, open up the throttle a bit .. starts speeding up.. but suddenly starts losing power and I hear this high pitch noise going on while its losing power. The problem goes away soon as I slow down to exit. It never happened for the ride home. Any input on what this could be? I have no idea.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did it sound like your bike revved up (RPM"S went up) and you didn't go anywhere??? Could be your clutch slipping.

I dont think it was the clutch, at least it didnt feel like it. Isnt 4k miles kind of early for clutch plates to go ?

sometimes bikes will slip if you use full synthetic oil on it?? Have you recently switched

Sounds like some kind of electrical glitch... perhaps ignition or EFI related?

Check your battery cables, My RC51 did something similar becuase the ground cable was very loose and when I would get on the throttle it stumbled and fell on it's face...(still doesn't explain the high pitch noise)

Does buymoto do warrenty work by chance?

I think it might be something with the EFI .. not sure though, the light didnt come on

you can bring it over and ill give it a once over, ive had that bike down to fame and engine plenty of times and have a few ideas
