So now you wanna haze the newbie and tell them to find an exit that doesn't exist off the I-5 right? :-p j/k.

Heheh.. umm.. there is no Mira Mesa blvd. off the 5 I don't think?
I believe you will want to exit Mira Mesa Blvd off the 805 or the 15.

Good going Chuck!!!!!!! It's the Starbucks across from Albertsons off Westview Parkway. Fastest way to get there is off the I-15, head west, left on Westview Parkway, first driveway pass on the right.

Sorry I couldn't make it to tonights gathering! I know, I know I'm a flaker, but I was stuck at Discover Infiniti with my friend who was just looking. He was set on not trading in his S2000 if they offered to give him less than 22K for his S2K. But it turns out they matched his offer and now he's scopin up a 2004 6spd G35 coupe. Must be nice! :( What did I miss. . .sh*t talking?

I'll PM you my number. Actually, I was on my way and got a call from my girlfriend. She was stuck at work because her car would not start, apparently she left her lights one. She works 7-7, ack! Anyways, I had to go home and get my truck and jumper cables.

Well, what's immediately noticeable is the shifting. They have somehow turned the clunky r6 shifting to more of a "snick, snick." :D I dunno if that make any sense... Must be the ball bearings and the precise machining so there’s no lateral movement in the shifter arm; eliminating any unnecessary play. I was thinking it really wouldn't make that much difference, but it's very apparent right away.

Other things I noticed: excellent build quality, how grippy the pegs are, and how rock solid they feel when doing stand-ups down the highway. (ok, I might have imagined that part)

Only downside is the instructions… well, if you wanna call them that. I’m more of a go-by-diagram kinda guy and their drawing sucks :D It wasn’t hard though… I’m just reaching here… Oh and yea, it would be nice if they were less pricey too. :)

Hmm... maybe this should be moved to the 'reviews' section or something huh? C'mon Sean, I need to be moderated. haha!

I'll post up some pics tonight.

01-30-2004, 12:29 PM
Glad you like them. There are very few things I have purchased from Japan that come with good instructions. Can't wait to see 'em :).
