Well like the title says i have been given the chance to test ride a piaggio typhoon for one week. they are trying to promote the scooter to college kids to use for easy commuting, parking, great gas mileage, cheap transportation and fun as well :guitar: . all i have to do is ride it to class every day and keep a journal giving feed back on the scooter and show it off basically. so i picked up the 50cc beast this afternoon and she had a whopping 14 miles on her lol. she is a 2 stroke and tops out at 50 mph so it is not freeway legal.
my first thoughts about riding today where that the thing is super light, agile and actually handles pretty good. the bike is ok up to about 25-30mph and then it just dies lol, it has nothing after that and it was scary rollin down mirimar rd. to buymoto as i was topping at about 45mph :lift: . some cool things about it are the steel braided brake lines, brembo brakes and michelin tires  . the thing is easy to move around off the bike and easy to park in tight spots at school and most of all it gets all the ladies :ha: . anyway i will talk about it through out the week and take some better pics but here are some for now...

lol sick!
let me know if you wanna borrow my suit while u ride that thing lol
It's all about the Typhoon! woohoo! Suprisingly, the brake, tire, USD forks suspension combo make this thing a potent street machine viable for tearing up SD's metro areas. The Brembo's especially have some considerable stopping power. I'm also diggin the Piaggio stylin as well, lookin sharp.
Tack on that 70cc kit and you're in business :holymoly:

oh my gosh i can't believe jared really let me ride on the street to BN on that thing. i think i found every single pothole between Buymoto and BN(on the insde roads) i think i scared him a lot while he was driving my car behind me. i think i did pretty well for my first time on the road riding. Thanks Babe for letting me ride it!!!!
