Welcome to Hypercycles-Tudes! Do you know Chuck or just happen to be from the same city? Well looking at the pic of your bike, it looks pretty good to me. What else is there to do to make her look better?

Hey Tudes... that's a sweet lookin fizzer!
Tell us more... how long have you had it... last tune up... carb sync... valve job?...
You can do somethings like striping and polishing your rims, frame, and swingarm which will require very little moolah, just a lot of elbow grease... if your into the bling sorta thing.
...but I'd definitely invest in some tire chains first... :D

Where's Erlend?
Anyways, you could resync the carbs and clean out the air filter. But from the pic, your bike looks really clean on the outside... what's wrong with it?

well how many miles are on it? i would say chaned the plugs, sync and/or clean the carbs, clean the air filter and that will give you your simple tune up. as far as looks i say your bike looks great...i put an air tech R1 tail on my fzr when i had it and it looks sweet.

that tail looks kinda different as well. Did the tail piece change along with the headlights for the 92 and 93 version?

is 92 the year they stop doing it?
when did the first yzf come out?
me thinks it came out in 88 or 89. Their was an fz (no r. Mel had one of those too) before that. They came with Un headlight in 92 93.

Welcome aboard!
That is a very nice looking FZR you have there. As for what to do with it you can check and ask questions here:
www.fzrarchives.com
As for what I would do (I own one myself) the first thing on my list was to fix up the overly soft front susspension. The engine (if in good shape) is pretty strong as it is, but one of the things you can do is change to bigger jets (jetkit) and if you want, ditch the airbox in favor of some filter pods. Ditching the airbox will give you less low range, but a lot harder pull up top.
Other than that I realy can't think of things you would need to do. You have allready done the tail swap so... other than mechanical things there is not much I would do.
PM me if you have any specific questions.
Good luck with the FZR! It is a great bike and has treated me well.
