Last time I was at ACH in the noon/afternoon, the 25 MPH U-turn (yes, there's only one... at least to my knowledge) is shaded -- water does not evaporate well there. Gets a little slippery, so take it a little easy there. Because it's at the lower elevations, I doubt there would be ice... but if you go early enough, there is a high risk.
This only applies during the winter months, and especially after it rains.
Other than the cold, it's still a great ride! Oh yeah, and the salt/gravel mixture at the top of Upper Big T kinda sucks, but cars usually push it aside. And sometimes it snows at Newcomb's Ranch while you're up there. But other than that, it's still a blast!
