There's track day events every month! It all breaks down to how much $ you have!

I think what the post whore is trying to convey is that the experience is heightened when you are around your friends. Courteous friends out on the track that have your back. Whenever someone went down, nobody cared about the track time being interrupted. Everyone was concerned that the rider was okay. All of the riders were courteous when passing. I forgot who it was, but someone was out there looking for a guy on a blue R6 to apologize to because he thought he might have spooked him on a pass. While the track day was for us, individually, the people at this track day made the day for us, collectively. Yesterday was the best attitude I have ever seen in a track day event.

OK besides the cal speedway...I wanna go back to SOW
now that I got a feel for the track...and hopefully by this time Ill have a new bike...::cross-fingers::
So TRACKPIMP is running some days over at SOW and I think that we could monopolize some of these days pretty damn good...maybe a Hypercycles/Buymoto day....
so here were the days I was looking at
aug 7-8
cause they are on the weekend....honestly if all goes well Ima do both days....
why the heck not
the other date is may 24th and I think that that is a monday....not so fond of....but it is in may...so the weather might be more to our liking...
august said that the average temp throughout the day then is 81
but highs avg. is 96.....
so gimme some feedback...Im itching....to not get OWNED....

Seriously Sean, you talking about another track day in the horizon with a date as far as May possible Aug. . . You know there are other event holders that have closer track dates.

Too bad we can't do that at California Speedway. The cost just seems so prohibitive.

My calendar doesn't go that far out, but HyperCycles' does (http://www.hypercycles.org/forums/calendar.php?s=&action=getinfo&eventid=10)! Shouldn't you make this a topic of its own? I will do my best to gather up money and sign up for this day.

GPTECHMAN is scared of Willow Spring period. He's started to tremble and even had an accident in his pants at the front gate! ;)

Hey Dustin, in Feb how chilly is it up there in WSIR? It's nothing like how cold it was in Dec?

Having done the trackday last year in January (wow, already a year ago). It was definitely cold and the similar conditions existed to the December 12th trackday.

its kinda hit and miss really. I've been there early in the year and its like 75-80.. and I've also been there when its freezing cold. Either way, its a good time!
I've seen people wear like a fleece over their leathers during the cold, and that seems to work out ok for them
