I'm sure it's just like the 03, but on the left side it goes here:

The right one is where you have to take the mid fairing off to reveal the bolt you'd replace and then drill a hole in your fairing. Thins link should help you out with the install.

Well...you may have too! You have a few choices with the sliders. You either get the ones that have that metal brachet or the ones that require cut.
Now...we talked about this long ago in other threads......I had a friend that had the ones with bracket witch is only on one side,anyway... and when he droped the bike in a turn due to water on the road......the bike slided and flipped over twices and the frame slider that had the bracket snapped off! So next time, I'm getting another R6 or witchever bike...I would not mind cutting the fairing. Its well WORTH it!
You go down on a little higher speed, they're going to snap off and you'll have to pay more than you bargain for. I would take it somewhere where they do a good job, on cutting it and get it done.Lee,I believe is still doing it...and they do it right and other shops.HOM...did not want to instal mines..due to liability. If you don't like the job....they don't want law suits....same with the after market slip on's...unless, you really know someone inside. But they still won't!
Think about it.Good luck!
I bought my sliders,SHOGUN kind, black and require cut! ...Can't get away these days from circumsizing your bike  It's better that way.
Someting to think about it.......

Frame sliders save your frame and not your plastics. It's beeter to have rashed plastics than a bent up frame.
