sup guys, even though i dont even have a bike anymore, doesnt mean ive lost my need for speed!
lets set up some sort of group event at miramar speed circuit sometime during the week.
they've got some lunch specials m-f from 11-2 where you can get a race and sandwich for like $20,
or if everyone can only go at night, then we can get races for free with some coupons from www.collegedeal.com .
click that link and following it to the 'Miramar Speed Circuit' link, or for you lazy people, just click here:

hahhaha...
well gp techman... i USED to have a bike, this is the first time ive been on this forum in months and i was looking at the pictures section and realized..
holy ****, ive been out of hypercycles for a long long time. i didnt even recognize anyone. but back in the day, me and my roommates and 'mini crew' used to be really into the hypercycles and events... too bad i deleted all those pictures too. so sad.
i would like to get my hands on a 600rr however... but it always comes down to $$ for me, which i have none.
anyway, back to go karting, the price is usually $23 / 10 min run. you pretty much do as many laps as you can in 10 minutes.. the average is around 11-12 while the faster people can do up to 14-15. they advertise the karts as 6.5 HP, up to speeds of 40 mph which i am kind of unsure about...
its kind of cool because after every 'race' you get a print out of your lap statistics and rank among your fellow karters.
with the coupon found at www.collegedeal.com/savings/speedcircuit , you can get 2 races for the price of 1 which is pretty darn good, and get $5 off per race there after. or if you're cool like bryant here, you can save $10 off a year memberhsip, which im thinking about doing cause i love going there.
anyway, if we can get a group going, id love to join.
oh yeah bryant.... i talked to one of the guys that worked there about the idea of mini bikes there and he said they actually already tried it.. but it just wouldnt work out due to the bumps in turn 1. since the pocket bikes dont have any suspension... when a rider goes into turn 1, they'll hit the bumps right when the lean begins and cause the wheel to lift up and goodbye, you're a goner if the wheel lifts mid lean.
hopefully they get that crap fixed... cause i feel the same way you do, id love to pocket bike race there! :)

I'm up for it, not too far from my place but would have to be in the evening as I work from 6:30-3.
How much are the year memberships?

I'm down for some lunch time Karting. I believe for members it's only $15 and you get a sandwich. How does Thursday sound?
