I was thinking about buying a pair anyone have an opinion on the quality of the oxtar brand? The ones I was thinking about are the evo ti's I think.
One of the most popular brands in Europe. Not so much here as it doesn't get as much exposure. Good build quality, comfortable, TI Sliders are pretty cool.

And the only boots i heard that are CE approved. CE as in the safety rating the higher-end armor in jackets and pants have.

I use the EVO TI's, love everything about the boot. support from the T.C.S. is well designed as well as makes me feel more assured my ankle will be all good in the event of a crash. the only thing that gets annoying is the squeaking from the T.C.S. system, but all is good as oxtar supplies some silicone lube with the boots. and as jae mentioned titanium toe sliders are pretty dope too. hope this helps.
Oxtar boots are the sweetness. I have the Evo Ti, and the best thing about it is that the foam liner is shaped to prevent foot movement, like a good ski boot. The 42 is a perfect fit for those who normally wear 8-1/2. It is a very sturdy and good looking boot. If you want something that is easier to walk in, and makes less noise, you can get the TCS Sport instead. It's the same boot except for having one less plastic rib, and regular sliders instead of titanium.

I knew nothing about them until I went to HOM and picked up a pair for 20% off last Sunday. I got the EVO's. I reccomend trying on a pair. I wear an 11 normal shoe and I fit in a 44. Kinda wide foot too. Still getting used to them, but much cheaper than a SIDI.
