I recently laid my bike down about a month ago (1994 Honda CBR 600 F2). I have been piceing it back together, trying to get it better than before it was crashed. Basically, the whole right side was thrashed, and so is my two brothers slip-on. I'm thinking about keeping it, I'm not sure which model it is, I think it's a C4. This guy is selling a brand new Jardine slip-on for $200, I'm wondering if it would be worth-while to just keep the scratched (but not dented) two brothers on there, or go with a new jardine 'street' or 'race' exhaust? Also, I know the race exhaust is a little louder, as far as performance, do the street and race provide the same amount?

A slip-on on a F2 might give you 2 or 3 hp at the most if your bike is properly jetted... a street or race slip-on would give less than a 1 hp difference, if even that.

how much louder are the race pipes comared to the street pipes? Do people get tickets at all for having a louder pipe?
