akino- repsol is a really good oil to use. that said.... i use golden spectro semi synthetic. i think you can get a jug for under $20 at southbay. get a filter, some fuel injector cleaner, a six pack and roll over. im free all week.

Sup Jimmy, yeah the Repsol 4T (fully synthetic) 15W-50 is good stuff. That or the 10w-40 partially synthetic will work good. Buy Moto usually has them in stock in the 4 liter jug for a good price...and you can probably pick up a K&N oil filter while you're at it. I've used both Motul and Repsol, and the bike seemed to run smoother on Repsol from what I could tell. Or, you could just go the most cost effective route and follow Jon's advice :werd:

Jon, I'm coming to see you at 200 miles bro

i know repsol is pretty new here in the states, but have there been any comparison tests to say:

- mobil 1
- amsoil
- maxima
- golden spectro
- etc.?

just cuz the M1 has a Motul sticker, doesn't mean it's running motul oil -- i wouldn't be surprised if the rc211v didn't run repsol either :)

do you guys actually feel a difference with different oils? i've run different brands and synthetic and semisyn, but I don't feel a difference.
