I think in general the front go first, I hardly use the rear. I am pretty happy with the EBC brake pads I have now.

Front go first...I put some EBC pads on my bike about 3weeks ago and I am loving them..

i'll never use ebc's again. i baked 2 sets of rotors with those pads. some people like them, they create a lot of brake dust and are rotor hungry
check out galfer or carbon lorraine (sbk) pads. any cintered HH or HHH pad should work fine

versash(sp?) I think is the name are supposed to be really good. When I got my bike the guy was a really heavy rear braker and the pad is almost gone in 3500 miles I figure he just didn't know what he was doing.
