Yeah...his limit is over $11.000.....because he invested 18K's in the bike....its going to be a tough one...not bidding any more.....its going to end up being close to 15.000 for sure....DAMN IT!For an R6..mine as well get a new 749 like Rich, red one though....so you'll still be different:-))

that R6 is not bad looking but there's no way it cost 18k in upgrades, the most expensive sh@t he has are the rims and brakes, no suspension which might make the bike worth what he wants, I doubt he'll even get the 11k.

Yup, not impressed. Definitely not 18K impressed, for sure.
I don't care how much you have invested, you'll never get the full price you paid for everything. I'd offer him 10K.

I know...I said the same thing.I emailed him....don't want to pay more than $10.000.I offered him cash....anything over I rather bike a Ducati....insane.But, the bike looks exactly the way I would upgrade it myself.....I had one before.Looked sweet and I had more in store for it.
Will see..he posted the bike before and no one bought it,due to reserve not met.I have a feeling that he will never sell it over 11k.No one will pay that much for an R6 special on eBay where everyone is looking for bargains...But if you think about it, getting a new one and paying for it...with 12.9 interest and dealer charges...from $8400 after you pay it off you're around 12k or more....Its crazy!
But I realy like the bike...plus its in California and I don't have to stress with registering the bike...that's my concern. And its got low miles too.And it is pretty much upgrade done...
Remus
It doesn't look all that special to me.. I love r6's but i would rather buy a low miles bike and do it up myself.. No suspension work? Puuuulease!

You got a point. Will see ...He is going to email me after the auction ends.Don't feel like paying more than 10.000 for it! Period!
Like you said...for 18k invested...you should put more into suspension upgrades than cosmetic stuff.Looks awesome...but still..I calculated all the stuff that's on the bike and it does not seam to me that it woulg go over 10k...includeing labor.... ...but the way dealers are charging...who knows?

Well the guy emailed me and said that, for 10k he would remove the Brembo breaks and keep everything else on it...He is going to put the original caliper back and leave the wavy rotors.
Otherwise, he can't let the price lower...because all the other upgrades..
Still don't know what to do...it's still a damn R6! Not a Ducati!......that extra cosmetic stuff,if you were to trade or sell the bike to a dealer, they would not offer anything extra, except what the bike its worth. That's the sad part, than again....to crush 10k...kind of sucks..or get it stolen for not having a garage.
But I like the damn black color and red..............................

No matter all the extra crap you put on a bike (or any vehicle for that matter) It's still the same ol' R6.
No way in hell I'd pay that . For chrips sakes it and 03 600cc.......... No way it's worth 18K,or even 10K in my book.
Look it up in Kelly blue book or NADA and that'll tell you how much it's truely worth.

That's what I've said.....KBB said 5900...that's it!I emaild him back to dropp it to 8.000 or something...I know 2000 miles..still new...but ............
:rifle: ...rip off!I know full Arrow,Power Comander..whells....That's why,NEVER put money into something that, as soon as you leave the dealership you just lost 2000 on it!
So sad....but true!

you get free chicken strips!!!
imho- if you have cash, you could go to a dealer and get a really good price on a NEW R6 and still have a few grand to do put whatever aftermarket parts YOU want.

:-)) I like that way you think:-) ...but, I don't need 10k's for that. That ..we can do with no cash  ...it takes a little extra drinks.
I may just wait...or.. go for something cheaper, red or black my favorite colors...and will go from there.Just as much as I like the R6,righ now, since I've been bikeless for 1 year,6 days and a few hours:-))) I'll ride anything! :squid:
I told him 7500-8000...we will see.
But, I doubt he's going to lower the price.Still the bike looks awesome.Rims,Full Arrow,Power Comand. rotors...and lot's of cosmetic stuff....and 2000 miles is still fairly new..barely broken into. But I have other deals too.I'm loking at Triumph's too. I like the 600TT.....it's a few(3-4hp's) slower than the Asian bikes...but very reliable and good.
Very comfortable also..and I like it in black.I'll keep an open mind... :) ...a few upgrades on that English bike and I'll be all right and less than 6000k for it.There are deals...

600TT's before the current model year had serious unresolved problems with their fuel injection system, so keep that in mind if buying resale.

Is this the one up in OC? If not, it looks like the one that has been advertised for several months on Craigslist. This one caught my eye too; but, I have more than I need at the moment. :)
