Hey folks, I feel obligated to write this. So here we go.....
Today I rode palomar with some friends, and was having a good time until I had a couple of bad expieriences. People we need to get involved and educate these "squids". I was coming around a right hander, and some knuckle head on a yellow ducati something was ON the double yellow totally in my lane. Thats example 1. Number 2, a guy on a Gixxer1k, wearing jeans, and jacket totally fresh to the sport, GUNNING it as hard as he could on the straights and slowing excesively for the turns and he had the nerve NOT to let me pass him. 3. A british fellow that Bubba encoutered, was on a cbr600rr and the brit was in his lane and going way over his head.
These people need to be adopted, I'm sure there are plenty more people like this. We need to chat we these people when we get the chance and try to get them to open their eyes. Because they are jepordizing everyone around them. We need to take action and try to prevent these people from wrecking their bikes, hurting themselves and others.
I now take Kent's adopt a squid thing quite seriously. I would say I adopted Bubba but he wasn't really a squid to begin with at all, but he definately needed some guidance to become a faster, more confident rider. He stated the no one ever took the time to ever show him how to do things, so I took to that and adopted him. :twofinger I'm proud of how he has progressed, c'mon people if you do adopt a squid, it will be a great feeling when you do see your baby squid tearing up and down the mountains knowing thats your dechiphle!
