Pre determined meeting spots

Hello O' powerful moderators. Was sitting here thinking if it would be a good idea to start a post or a sticky that would show a listing of our meeting spots. Perhaps that way a new member or one that has not gone on a ride could just be referenced to that post and voila. For instance (not all inclusive);

Well Ceez, there are other riders that meet up at the Micky D's off Plaza Blvd. I think the two spots thats common for most would be Starbucks off Westview Parkway in Mira Mesa and Mobil gas station on the corner of Eastlake Parkway and Telegraph Canyon. ;)

True dat, I just meant starting up a directory and all you would have to do is reference. For instance, yesterday we lost Epoch cause he didn't know where to go. Oh and I tried bringing up the Mobil but couldn't find it on mapquest. :errf:

Yeah E-liz(redhead4u), Nick(iceman) and Chris(visiting from out of state) missed the Mobil gas station on Sat's ride. I think a sticky would be a great idea.

I think a sticky would be a great idea. The only meet point I know is that one gas station on Mira Mesa. I don't know where the Starbucks is (as there are numerous ones... even one on Mars).

the problem is there's two starbucks, one by the gas station I guess, and one in the parking lot of albertsons where we meet for bike night =)

Yeah Sat's ride was kind of messed up because someone posted in the SV board to meet across the street at a different Starbucks, away from the Palomar's og meeting spot. It was in bold that Sat's big loop was a NQGE(not quite good enough) ride and it didn't want to get it mixed up with the SCS straight to Palomar ride.

Yeah...this was stressed on both boards where the Mira Mesa meet was.

I get that they don't want to get people mixed up in the groups...but even when people know to go across the street they miss it. One guy went throught the parking lot THREE times before we waved him down!

Maybe we should meet over where the SCS rides used to meet...in the parking lot right across Westview Pkwy...by the theatre and Pat & Oscars. That way there's no confusion on which f'n starbucks to go to. And it's not like I really ever see anybody get coffee there.

Thought that other Ninja250 rider was with us, she even introduced herself and everything, was sort of waiting around on her but she never came back. We had done the telegraph canyon road ride before so at least knew where to go from there but had no idea where the shell station was.

Janet was wearing something on her nibble, just not sure what, one new's article said it was a star but looks like some interesting piercings to me. =)

We all used to meet up at the La Jolla Village Drive Mobel station back in the day. Maybe one day for ol times sake we should do it again :)

A meeting spot needs to be co-located with gas and food. This way you can gas up, get some chow and Ride!

You forgot the one across Westview in the Barnes and Noble and the one on the other side of Mira Mesa by the Ralphs. That's right, a grand total of 4 Starbucks on one intersection. :roflmao:

Maybe we should have multiple meet up spots for one ride, then everyone ride to a certain spot and at that spot have like a big gathering like gas up eat lunch dinner stuff like that and then everyone figure out what we are going to do from there.... Ok and heres another thing this weekend coming up I am going to be hosting a kegger in Ocean Beach at my House... Hey for all those interested we are planning a ride to telegraph canyon at 9 a.m. The meeting spot is going to be in Tierrasanta at the Popeyes on Aero and Santo Rd. For the people that live closer can meet us at Otay Lake.
