A dayum.. your master cylinder is hanging upside down! Try to keep it from being in that position so u make sure that no air gets in your lines.. those are a pain in the butt to get out when u got an air pocket right next to your master cylinder. ;p

Yeah, I would know first hand what a pain in the a*s it is when air gets in the m.c! 12/11/03 the night before when I was about to ride my bike up to Bryants to load on Marc's truck. Very, very frustrating situation. :(

You should be able to remove the resevoir cap and pump the lever VERY slowly (it'll squirt you in the eye) to get any air out at the top of the system. Set on sidestand and turn bars to get the master as the highest point in the system. Tap lines lightly with a wrench to break bubbles loose and work them towards the master. Works on my 1976 CB750 anyway.

2nd that! Today was fun until the dude on the Busa crashed! Godspeed to him for a full recovery. Props to Jiggy with his EMT skills! Glad seeing the regulars-Jason-Shag-a-delic, Cagelos, Jared, Marc(where did you go), Jiggy, Brenden, both Joshs, Craig, Alex-Tifoso-SV, Johnny D on the Blue Buel Lightning, Epoch, Philo, and Stroble-love the rearsets. . .jealous now! Ya, mad props to Jiggy and his EMT skills. He should be on every ride we go on! Get well Busa dude!

We (me, Alex, Craig Epoch, Philo) didn't get a lot of riding done after the accident, but we had a good time BS'ing down at the lookout and watching Jiggy rail the corners on Kevin's noisy super chicken. Man, that thing is loud, but it's a good loud! :-p

It was funny how that lady in the in the Pathfinder just flipped us off as we were sitting at the look out. What did we do?

Actually, it wasn't that difficult. Just a lot of unbolting. My neighbor helped me out and we put labels on all of the connectors so that we'd be able to put it back together without having to do any guessing. Not sure if the manifold is warped or not. I'm going to put on a new gasket and some RTV and see if that does the trick.

I am making it faster by taking off weight ;). Didn't see that one coming did ya? I've had a coolant leak for a while but couldn't pinpoint it until a couple of weeks ago when it finally got to a point where I could see the leak. There was coolant coming out from the thermostat housing as well as some leakage from the rear of the manifold. I thought that it might be the gasket but it looks fine. I've been told that these manifolds have a tendency to warp so I may need to get a new one. Anybody know of someone that's modifying their 2001 and newer Mustang GT and is getting rid of their intake manifold? If you do, let me know.

Thanks for the offer, Mike. Puttting it all back together shouldn't be a problem but I'll let you know.

Thanks for lettin me roll with you guys. Had an awesome time. Watching Josh ride up 3/4 of the tight-side sitting on top of his tank was freakin hilarious. I also drug a knee for the first time, although it wasn't on purpose and I was wearing jeans. DOH!!!

The downed Busa definitely put the rest of the day in a different light. Hope he heals quickly and fully. Hope to see him riding again soon.
